Ocean Network Express (ONE) is set to launch a new maritime service in May 2024, establishing a vital link between the west coast of India and the eastern seaboard of the United States. The newly introduced route, named West India North America (WIN), will feature a comprehensive rotation encompassing ports such as Bin Qasim, Hazira, Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Damietta, Algeciras, New York, Savannah, Jacksonville, Charleston, and Norfolk. The return leg of the journey will include stops at Damietta, Jeddah, and Bin Qasim.

The collaborative effort of the alliance consisting of NYK, MOL, and K Line will deploy a fleet of nine vessels to execute a weekly rotation for this service. This strategic initiative supplements the conglomerate’s existing 22 weekly services in India, collectively covering eleven ports.

The WIN route is strategically designed to cater to India’s robust economic growth, particularly in export-oriented sectors such as electronics, apparel, and food products. By establishing this maritime connection, India will be seamlessly linked to one of the world’s major consumer markets. This initiative underscores the commitment to facilitating global trade and ensuring efficient maritime transportation solutions to meet the evolving needs of burgeoning economies. The implementation of this service aligns with ONE’s overarching goal of enhancing connectivity and supporting international trade dynamics.
